Hello
I thought my problem machine would be fixed when I replaced the brushes (the existing ones were very worn down. So I can confirm the following…
The belt is attached and free turning.
The pump impeller turns freely (with a slight resistance) by finger.
At START the noise of water rushing into the machine can be heard. Thereafter I can hear ‘clicks’ from the electrical circuitry and the Detergent Dispenser is sluiced of its contents. No Drum movement and more ‘clicks’ before END flashes.
The clothes are obviously unwashed and only those at the bottom of the Drum are wet.
When opening the Pump Cap about half a litre of water pours out.
The filter in the Water Inlet Hose is clear and the water pressure is good.
I’m really stumped. Is it the Thermal Cutout? or an electrical fault that effects the Motor and Pump simultaneously? Any ideas very gratefully received.
