Bosch Classixx 1200 what’s this popcorn making noise?

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express Washing Machine model WFO 2466GB Makes the noise of popcorn being made. Still washes ok. But when there is 42 minutes to the end of wash left, it starts making this popcorn making noise for 10 seconds then there might be no noise for 2 or 3 minutes, then it starts again and this continues until there is 15 minutes left to the end of the wash. (Machine has a countdown timer).
Only been using the 40 and 60 degree washes.
Washer is 3 years old, had its carbon brushes replaced 6 months ago.

Dont know, check the pump filter at the bottom of the front for obstructions in the pump. Remiove filter and look in hole with a torch, might be something stuck inside.

I found a metal hair grip stuck-fast and a 5p coin, the two must have been catching each other on the rinse cycle and the noise echo through the machine.
Its great I can remove my ear plugs now 😆
