Bosch ClassiXX 5 – needs reset after every run.

Hello,

My ClassiXX 5, Model: waa24162sn/24, are having troublems after +8 years of no errors. After it has run a washing program through, it wont start a new program, it just flashes the 2 leds placed lowest.

Sometimes the reset procedure works on this, and the washing machine starts normally, and finishes the program chosen, afterwards it wont start again and flashes the 2 leds again.

Any chance you know what needs a make over ?

Sounds like a drainage time-out error to me. So either the drain filter is clogged or the pump behind it is worn out and needs replacing. Restricted sump hose, sump ball or outlet hose can cause similar symptoms.

Thank you for your swift reply, It drains normally and runs normally when it finally starts, the pump and hose seems to work fine.

In the meantime I noticed that the door lock and door sensor, might seem to be the problem. It has a periodic problem detecting if the door is shut, which might be dust and dirt in the sensor, or it is faulty. would this make the 2 lower leds flash ?
