    Hi,

We have a Bosch washing machine model:

    WAE28363GB/07 FD 8809 603616

Having a problem with the machine spinning.

If we put the machine on a spin cycle it seems fine spinning but have noticed when it gets down to 8 minutes it suddenly jumps to 1 minute .

If we put a wet bath mat in, the drum rotates round but starts and stops and it does not get up to the correct spinning speed.

I have cleared out the filters and the grey spinney (Sorry not that technical when it come to washing machines!) thing does spin round when on a spin cycle.

Can anyone give some advice on something else to try?

    Many thanks

    Richard

The out of balance (OOB) sensor will not allow a single item, especially a bath mat, to spin at all. If you had half a dozen bathmats in then it would for the simple fact the drum is evenly balanced. So, unless you add articles, such as a load of towels to the load it will not possibly balance and the OOB would abort after about 4 or 5 attempts.

Thanks for the advice. My wife has just put some dry towels in with the bath mat and hey presto the spin has started working.

    Thanks once again.
