    I have a Classixx 6 1200 washing machine WAE24164GB/22
When I select a programme and Start the machine begins the slow spin but instead of a steady flow of water as the inlet solenoid opens it spurts and stops the flow. This repeats for a long time and then the programme eventually stops and beeps (for attention I assume!).

    Anyone seen this fault before?

Is it the solenoid has failed or a controller board fault?

    many thanks

sounds like a board fault but easy to check do a voltage check on the solenoid.
if its constant its the valve if it goes on and off its the board

Voltage pulses. Max I can see on the meter is ~32V.

From your info Dave it’s the controller that’s failed then.

does sound like that. the controller is not giving a constant voltage to the valve. cant think of any other reason other than controller faulty.

there are companies that repair some of these boards

look for EMW electronics and QER
