ParticipantHello, we have a Bosch Classixx 7 WTE84105GB/35 which is getting on now think I got it in 2012.
Just recently it’s started leaking from the right hand side from the condenser flap but only when we are drying 3 towels on the extra dry setting. When we do normal laundry it doesn’t leak. The water drawer fills as normal.
I’ve checked the condenser and it was heavily covered in fluff/lint which I’ve now cleaned out but it still leaks.
The tumble dryer is the type which has the pump at the bottom which pushes the water up to the tray. Today I’ve had it apart & checked the pump and pipes – all of which are clear.
I’ve seen a few threads on here from other people with similar issues but no confirmed solutions.
I think it could be the gasket/rubbers around the condenser which are failing, I’m happy to purchase a replacement if that’s the right part – only other thing I can think is that it’s the pump.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Mark

Moderatorits not the pump. the pump is in a sump, if the pump was faulty the sump would fill up and you would get the empty container light
also gasket only comes with condensor at £79

ParticipantThanks for replying to my query Dave, do you think my best course of action is to replace the condenser (I won’t hold you to it :))
Cheers Mark

Moderatortry raising the front of the dryer 10mm or so
what am trying is to push any water back to the sump
is this in the house or a cold garage ?

ParticipantThat’s a good idea – will raise it up & keep an eye on it. The dryer is kept in the house.
Is it often that the gasket fails on the condenser?

Moderatorcant remember having one fail. have had a few leaking in cold areas. not because of a water leak but steam getting out and condensing
