I tried and failed on two other ‘help forums’ -even one I had to pay for, and got NO Replies? Is it my question?

My tumble dryer (see model details above) stopped heating. I took of the back looking for a reset button but there doesn’t appear to be one. Now I’m not stupid, I could find it on my old whirlpool easily. There looks to be two thermo-switches (tiny round things, looked at them on a parts site) but genuinely NO reset? Can anyone help.

Also – the model number WTV74105GB doesn’t up on parts sites, but it’s clear enough on the machine.

Anyway – the missus is driving me mad nagging, especially as I reset the older dryer and fixed the washer twice -she now ‘expects’! HEEEELP 🙂

On the heater unit there is a NTC thermistor AND a resettable overheat thermal cut out (part no: 617459) available from the link below :-

Perhaps there’s a lesson to learn about those so called help web sites that charge you for no answers or at best duff information. 😉
