ParticipantHi,
Newcomer to the forum, hope you can help. Came in last night to our dishwasher (that looks like it’s had a very hard and unloved life (rental property!)) stick at 128 minutes with the check water light on.
Opened up the drain inside and removed the gunk that was there (not too much) and restarted it and after about a minute the check water light comes on again.
If I put it on and pour water into the bottom it drains very quickly, in the drain area at the bottom there is water constantly spraying out of one of the small holes across the drain (even when the door is open?), it seems to have got stuck on draining water out.
Not sure what else you need to know. Really need any ideas on how to fix it, or if it’s likely to be dead and needs replacing!

all bosch dishwashers have a float in the base of the unit. if water leaks into the base the float lifts and the pump wont stop
you need to access the base and drain off the water and see what happens nextmost common fault on these is the water metering section mounted on the left hand side. seen a lot of these gunked up
if you post the complete Enr I could send you to a parts breakdown

Reading elsewhere I put a load of water through the dishwasher and then pulled it out and laid it on it’s left side (jiggled it about a bit) and it sprung back into life when I righted it and turned it back on.
Is this likely to be a permanent solution or is it going to need taking apart and cleaning properly?

Spoke too soon, it got to 75 minutes remaining and the check water light came on and it stuck at 75 minutes.
is there a guide anywhere showing what I need to do?
Cheers,

I’ve tried tilting it forward and quite a lot of water came out and after that it stars up and runs but every time it runs to around 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time (75 minutes on a 149 min cycle and 13 minutes left on a 25 minute cycle) and ‘check water’ comes on and it sticks at spraying water across the bottom and draining water.

open the door
look at the very top centre of the stainless steel part
there is a see through label can be a bit hard to see unless your looking for itlets try it this way
go here http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spareparts/search
put your Enr in I picked a random one and used SRS55C02GB/15
open up the parts listing and go to page 5 of the parts list
look at item 0410 on the left side of the diagram
this is where you need to check. this unit and the hose coming out of it blocks up

I see! It’s engraved in the steel and covered in crud so I couldn’t see it.
Your link above does not work (I assume you wanted me to click where you wrote ‘Go Here’ the link is missing.
