Participanthello new to the forum can anyone please help. I have a bosch slimline classixx (2 yrs old) just started having problems : when turning the dishwasher on it always starts automatically with the previous program and when program is finished the end light comes up however, the machine continually drains until we turn the power off. On switching the machine back on I am able to change program and again it will end with the light and continues to drain.
many thanks sarah
p.s worth noting the dishes are being dried as they should be in a normal wash cycle. 😕

Hi
Is sounds as if you have a leak into the base below activating the anti flood device.
Please supply full model number. It will be etched on stainless of door at the top as you open it.If you are to investigate fault, please unplug appliance :plug:

Hi
When you say under the appliance, did you mean under the stainless steel base where the plastic base is?
You will need the r/h panel off to gain visual access to the base, if there is a leak the water in the base will be apparent. Remove water carefully avoiding unnecessary sloshing around motors etc.

Ok
If he removes lower front panel and removes clear pipe going from sump to anti flood metering unit on the lhs and cleans thoroughly. In extreme cases the metering unit and water matrix on lhs may be gunged up aswel.
This is usually down to lack of rinsing plates before loading, allowing food debris to travel and eventually ferment and grow causing problems.Greg

Just a thought, if hubby removes l/h panel, get him to locate polystyrene float.
As you look facing lhs, it will be on the right, with a red plastic stem actuator going down to it.
Mice have a fetish for the polystyrene 😕 and make a mess with poly, causing bits of debris to push actuator bar upwards.Greg

hi sarah here again, removed front panel which gave no additional access to the base. removed both lhs and rhs panels, could not locate float although saw water matrix and the red plastic actuator which could be moved up and down, as far as we can tell pipes look clean and clear.
Powered machine up with sides off, which gave no additional indication of anything wrong, you could hear the motor running from within, clearly trying to pull water out that’s not there. After a short period of time the wash starts again.
Could it be a problem with the computer control/pcb. many thanks sarah.

at the end of the fred plastic actuator is a microswitch -is this stuck in the made position ?? moving the rod(actuator up and down should switch the pump on/off .there is also a red float in the chamber beside the switch -is this stuck in the top of the chamber. If all this is correct then it will be the control unit as I have had this a couple of times.
hope this helps
