ParticipantHi
hope someone can give me some advice on the above – 2 years old approx. model no – SGS43612GB/19 (I think, as its on a bit of paper on stuck on door but falling off!)
Its filling up and emptying but arms don’t appear to turn and water doesn’t heat up. Have checked and cleaned filter – no glass or debris. Had arms off and cleaned them. Am now stuck and with hubby away have limited knowledge. I’d rather not have to resort to the professionals unless have too!
thanks for any help in advance

Hi
If the water level is just below lower spray arm mount then the fill is fine.
When you “expect” the spray arms to turn in a wash motion, what sort of noise do you hear? ie – humming or water dribbling sound. Please try and re check that model number again as it will be needed to proceed further 😀

PS – Duplicate post removed. It is frustrating waiting for reply I know, but we do get round to them. 😀

Hi again
Sorry Greg re duplicate posts must have pressed same twice – duh!
Have pulled machine out and tipped it to look for number then tried it again just to see – and its working?!
Will see how it goes – am running it through a full cycle to see before filling it with dishes!
Thanks for your help

Hi
It sounds to me that you may have had some water in the base and by tilting appliance have either evacuated it or moved it away from the anti flood float 😕 If fault occurs, it would do no harm to check for this. The bas is situated below the wash tank.Un plug appliance if you should need to investigate further.

Hi
If its filling and draining repeatedly, it sounds like the usual problem that occurs.
If you do a search on bosch dishwashers fill problem etc, you should find numerous posts on rectification of that fault.HTH
