Our ‘old’ Bosch Classixx fridge/freezer was working perfectly. I had to switch off the supply to the ring mains while I replaced a socket. The FF was switched off (but empty) for a couple of days. When switched on, it appeared to be working normally but after being left overnight, the fridge compartment was warm and the freezer compartment was really hot, almost like an oven.
Please help with the following questions:
    – what is the likely fault?
    – is the FF repairable by me ( no previous experience of an FF but practically minded)?
    – is it worth repairing, given the cost of the replacement parts (assuming they are available)?
    – is there are any possibility of it having multiple faults?
    Any replies welcome, thank you.

that has to be a system fault. sound like the system has reversed so its moving heat from outside to inside instead of the other way around

if thats the case its scrap

    Hi Dave,
Thank you for the reply. Much appreciated. It’s beyond repair.

    Hi Dave,
I have made one attempt at fixing it – I fitted a new condenser and a new relay – they were exact replacements. There might have been some improvement but it was basically the same – warm inside instead of cold. I am reluctant to give up hope because the FF is an exact fit to the millimeter in the kitchen worktop. Is there anything else that I can try? What is causing this problem?
There is nobody local who will repair a FF: washing machines – yes, but FF -no.
    Thank you.
