Washing machine stopped with fault code flashing ‘Motor Fault’ code.

Is there a way to reset the machine so that we can complete the wash (with a partial load in it)?

Machine is 4 years old. I suspect the brushes have worn – any other suggestions as to what the machine might identify as a motor fault?

Please note the machine is now in Sydney, Australia but was bought in the UK.

    Thanks,

    Fleabo.

    Re: Bosch Classixx ‘Motor Fault!’

Now that I am home from work I have checked the brushes and as suspected they are worn. ($110 for a new pair of brushes in Sydney :rolls: – will get them tomorrow or find a UK supplier and get the mangle out for a couple of weeks)

Out of interest, how does the fault code reset itself? Is their a diagnostic routine that senses armature resistance/impedance at start up? Or is there a sequence of buttons to push?

    Thanks,

    Fleabo
