I know its old, but it works perfectly, apart from not collecting ANY water in the condenser drawer – its still drying clothes though!
The pump is clean and working.
The hoses have been flushed through, and are clear.
The condenser unit has been thoroughly cleaned and is clear.
The heater element is working.
Previously if the condenser unit has been blocked there has been a puddle of water under the machine – I’m not even getting that!
I have watched several you tube videos, done as much research as I can I think, over the last three weeks…. and am sure I have done everything, short of calling an engineer, as I’m thinking maybe its time to get a new one, but as it still works apart from that – Any suggestions please?September 25, 2016 at 10:33 am #441231electrofix

if the clothes are drying the water must be going somewhere and if its not in the draw it must be leaking out of the seals into the case and into the surrounding air. if it was cold outside i would expect condensation on your windows

Thanks Dave – I realise it must be going somewhere, and as its been so warm its prob just evaporated – but I’m wondering what I haven’t tried yet to fix it?

Not collecting water in the drawer means either the pump isn’t working or, the more likely, that the nozzle at the back of the drawer is blocked. Simple to fix, lid off, remove hose, clean nozzle, blow down hose to ensure no further blockages, refit. To test simply remove drawer, carefully pour on pint of water into cavity, refit drawer, turn on and in seconds that pint should have pumped up into the water container drawer. Simples! 🙂

if it was a simple blockage i would have expected the machine to cut out when the sump became full or at the very least start leaking the overfill water on the floor
