Hi All. I need to remove the pump from my Bosch Classix 1400 Express. It sounds like something is trapped insde the pump and I can’t unscrew the pump cap (only turns a small amount then jams). Before I attack it, does anyone have any hints or tips for getting at the pump and removing it?
    Many thanks

if it has a base plate, u need to take the front off

1 screw behind soap drawer, remove front of door seal and lock

kick strip off , 1 screw

then 2 screws for front panel, and the front will drop down a little and lift off

    the rest is quite obvious

if it doesnt have a base plate, take of the kick plater, 1 screw on pump housing, and pump drops out of bottom

    hope this helps

    Re: Bosch Classixx Pump

Thanks helo. Turned out quite simple in the end. The pump made a fearful noise, and as I said, I couldn’t get the cap to unscrew. After taking the pump off and shaking it a bit the cover cap did unscrew. Strangly there didn’t seem to be anything obvious causing a problem and the impeller rotated freely. Tested the pump and it seemed to work ok so put it all back together and it’s working fine. Result!

    ahem

there will have been something in it, you juggling it around will have pushed it into one of the hoses

while you still can, take off the filter and put your finger in the holes and remove whatever is in there.. it wil wash back in
