If anyone could please help me, I bought this dishwasher of someone who said that it worked 2 years ago when it was last used. I connected it all up and powered her up.

I put it on to normal full load cycle so it started with the active light on and starts filling up with cold water, after half a minute the “check water” light comes on but the dishwasher continues to fill until the sensor tells it to drain. It drains for a second or two and continues to fill and then repeats draining. It will repeat this process until I’ve swithed the machine off.

Please someone help me, it would be much appreciated.

The flow sensor (aka Impellor Jug) has failed and needs replacing. Not a costly fix and a local engineer can sort it for you. Look for one in your area by clicking HERE 😀

I’ve ordered the part to replace it myself (I’m quite a handyman).

Where can I find this part on my dishwasher?

On the incoming water side just beyond the inlet valve. 🙂
