Bosch Classixx SGS55C02GB – Check Water light has come on

Hi

I have a Bosch Classixx SgS55C02GB dishwasher and the check water light suddenly came on. I took the side panel off and couldn’t see much gunk in the impeller Jug. However if I press the long red trip switch to the right of the jug it overrides the check water cutout and runs through the cycle (as long as the switch is pressed down). There also seems to be a little water leaking from the rear right hand side of the machines, I am guessing there is some sort of overflow system.

Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be?

I just saw the above post which seems to be the same problem that I have. I tipped the dishwasher forward which allowed about 2 cupfulls of water to pour out over the floor… I had a towel ready and hey presto the dishwasher works. I’m assuming that I need to either find a leak or clean out the gunk… or even both of these things… either way.. my wife is happy… for now… 🙂
