Bosch Classixx slimline dishwasher salt prob

Wondered whether anyone could help with the our dishwasher problem
stuff is coming out salty, any drinks then taste salty specs of salt also on plates, glasses etc.
Have thoroughly cleaned every possible area arms, salt chamber etc and ran cycle on empty
Was thinking salt chamber lid has a broken seal but can, but can’t see anything. dishwasher is roughly 4 to 5 years old, this problem has been going on about 6 weeks
Any advice would be much appreciated
