    Hi all,

Our dishwasher is not working properly, it’s a Bosch classixx SRS53C02GB/28 and it won’t start its cycle.
I’ve looked at trying to get info on running a test cycle and fault code but not getting anything for the srs series.

I did press a couple of buttons and think I’ve got a result. The light for the quick wash cycle is flashing, but now can’t get any info on what this means.

Any help on this would be great.

    Re: Bosch classixx SRS53C02GB/28 problem

    try this first

    Cancel programme (Reset)
Only when the master switch is ON.
Press the A and C programme
    buttons simultaneously and hold them
    pressed for approx. 3 sec.
    The programme continues for approx.
    1 min.
    The PROGRAMME END indicator and
the indicator for the programme that
has just been terminated light up.
Set main switch 1 to OFF.
Close the detergent compartment 30 .
To restart the dishwasher, set main switch
1 to ON again and select desired
    programme.

then select a programme and see what happens

Thanks for the reply, I have five buttons on my machine, by buttons A&C I presume you are referring to the normal and quick wash buttons.

Have followed your instructions, I can hear the washer filling and a whirring noise but no washing.

    go to

    http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spareparts/search

put your Enr in and find the machine

goto page 4 of the breakdowns and look at item 0410 on the left

this item or the hose leaving it at the front (item 0415) have a habit of getting full of goo

may just need a clear out
also check if the base is full of water when you have the side off
