I have just purchased the standard version of this item, and would like to know if it is safe to leave the water supply turned on to the machine when the machine is not switched on (on the machine) as the operating instructions say otherwise.

I would have thought that with it having a timer, then it would not be a problem

    Thanks in advance

All trade folks will say it should be switched off when the machine is not in use.
Reason is that mains pressure, just like the £ can go up and down,it is often higher in the night when there is little demand and could leak through joints etc,you have mains pressure water in a plastic or rubber hose, these can be faulty from time to time and fail, albeit very rarely when it does it is a disaster ! 😯
No chance of claiming for damages if you leave them on and it leaks when you are out or sleeping.
