Bosch Classixx WTE84106GB container light on

I have a Bosch Classixx WTE84106GB that the container light comes on and stops drying, its plumbed into the sink so container not used , cleaned the filters which wasn’t dirty , made sure pipe wasn’t kinked. anybody got an idea what the problem could be. Its less than 2 years old and hasn’t been used much

the container on light is sensed by a float or electrodes in the pump chamber

have had these chambers block up

to save you taking it apart, if you look where the condensor comes out there is a hatch in the floor. its a bit tricky but if you remove this you can see if the pump reservoir is full or not

could be a blocked pump not pumping out the water, without the draw in you cant be certain any water is coming out

Hi Dave I managed to get the lid off the hidden compartment and there is water in it, it doesn’t seem to be blocked with anything else.

if that compartment is quite full then the pump is not working or blocked

was there any lint in there ?

its a bit of a pig to get at the pump as you have to remove the left side of the dryer to access and clean it out

I found out I had extended warranty and the pump has been replaced. Thanks

Just used the dryer and it stopped with the container light flashing , different from before pressed start and it started ok
