client says oven is taking up to 25 to 30 mins to heat up to 200 degrees
in convential setting,on air circulation a little longer. cooking period far to long on simple dishes.
stripped down unit..suspected top or bottom elements had blown.
both test out on megger test for continuity.
voltage at BOTH top and bottom element teminals is 164volts when in circuit
test out of circuit…244 volt (no load)
I notice that the elements are wired in parralell..
other wiring in harness appears ok..circuit wired direct from selector switch
any one had this problem before. not knowing resistance of elements in the first place, its difficult to establish values. (i do suspect one of elements may have blown)
clearly voltage drop is reason forlong heating up process, bearing in mind this is a very small oven chamber
any help most welcome
Thanks
