    Hi Folks

Went to this and custmer complaing still damp at end of cycle.

m/c is auto sense so wet n wrung out tea towel and tested with that – heat ok. Checked Cond unit was fairly blocked so cleaned all that out (best one to clean that i have come across so far) and tested again fault cured methinks.

But just before I left T/dry stopped – checked tea towel still damp – retried and cut out again – rewet and off heating again. So sensor picking up the difference although not enough to dry tea towel.

Could it be that the tea towel is not a big enough for the sensing to pick up acurately how dry it is and the m/c needs at least half a load in?

I cleaned the rim of drum where the sensor runs but no difference – did notice that the sensor appears not to be spring loaded altho it looks like it is making contact and running on the drum ok.

Have asked her to retry with a full load but if this fault persists is there other likly cause other than board?

Thanks folks – all comments appreciated as usual

    Mick

Are they using bounce?? as this can affect the sensor band try cleaning then retest.

Thanks for the reply Lerch. I cant rember seeing any about but will ask customer if I get the recall – Is that a sensor band inside the tub as I cleaned where the sensor brush runs on the outside of the drum?

Suppose there must be thinking about it but never thought it would get dirty with all the cloths rubbing on it.

    Thanks

    Mick
