Bosch condenser light coming on

Hi all

Model No. WTE84107GB/01

Everything works fine for a while then the condenser light comes on but the bottle is empty. take out bottle it starts then after 5mins stops again.

I,ve looked for a switch that could be sticking but no sign. It will work without the bottle in place.

Any ideas……….

condenser light or empty container light ?
If you’ve emptied the water container and cleaned out the actual condensor , then the most probable cause is a blocked drain pump.
The pump has a microswitch that makes when the water level in the sump reaches a certain level. This , in turn , will operate the pump. If the pump is blocked , and after switching on for a few minutes , the level sensor doesn’t see a change in level , it thinks the water container is full…hence the ’empty water’ led lighting.
The pump is situated on the lower left hand side , as you look at the machine , if you want to check –

Hi Folks,

Went to one of these today, same symptoms. I wanted to have a look at the pump, float and whatever but could not get side panel off, whats the knack?. Surely its not console panel off, front off, side panel off it cant be, can it? Bit pressed for time today so am booked to return wednesday.
