    Hi there.

I have a Bosch cooker hood with the E-Nr. DKE 995 A GB and FD 8002 numbers inside the hood.

Yesterday, the chrome ring and glass, that covers the halogen lamp, cracked in two and shot off across the kitchen, frightening my mother to death. I’ve looked on the Bosch website for a replacement but they now only do the lamp as a whole unit at £18. All I need is the chrome ring and glass. Does anyone have one or, preferably, two as I now don’t trust the other lamp, please?

For the moment, I’ve superglued it but I’d rather have an undamaged one as I’m now wary of being hit by a mini flying saucer. So, if anyone can help, I’d be most grateful.

    Thank you, Tops

Whole thing as you suspected, I’m afraid. Its the heat with the halogen bulbs that does it and they are 6 years old now.

Rangemaster also only do complete unit aswell, looks like they all only do complete units and not individual parts.

Hi. I have one of these hoods and a bulb has gone. Could someone please tell me how to open up the lamp unit so that I can replace the bulb?
    Thanks in advance
    Malcolm
