    Hi have this bosch cooker that trips the electrics when th ecustomer turns off the appliance. didn’t happen when i was there. Any ideas. ASAP

    That’s an odd one for sure? RCD, earth bonding type problem maybe? 😕

    Means you’re gonna need to get your Loop Tester out on this one, or megger everything in there at least?

    YEah it is wierd don’t know what could cause it to do this apart from the switch itself.

    Dansta had a same fault with an Electrolux oven.
    Turned out to be circotherm element 😀

    I can’t rememebr exactly which model but i have had problems with the switch selector on these ovens ‘sparking’ when switched on or off. It may be worth checking the selctor switch for any signs of scorching or burning…especially on the underneath.
    i think the spark/contact break is enough to upset a sensitive 30Ma RCD

    i had this fault on a bosch it turned out to be the fan element, it tested ok on meter, so i replaced switch n then the stat with no joy, so i replaced elememt with success
