Hi Everyone , This fault has baffled me before and I was quoted crazy money for a new pcb . I advised the customer to purchase a new one . But what I would like to knowis this ; is there a probe or a sensor in this fridge that can be changed or cleaned when the fault is an intermitant stat fault . this fridgefreezer is 5 years old . ( are they a rubbish fridge ) .
    Thanks Guys
    Maurice .

Plenaty of stuff on these if you do a search, if you are trade you may want to sign up as a trade member.
Basicly there is a mod to cover thermistor failure if that is the problem.

    hi

what exactly is the fault on this fridge/freezer

does it cool down to correct temp then switch off then not switch back on or not until it is at room temp

if it is then there is a modification (available from bosch 491415 ) that can be done to these to cure the problem

the same problem has been reported here before and basicly involves cutting some wires and joining them together to bypass the stat..read the instructions in the kit very very very carefully and :zap: UNPLUG THE MACHINE :zap: before attempting anything
