Went to a SGS45E08GB/45 today over filling and going in to pump out. This is the first time I have come across one that has what has appears to be a flow sensor rather than the old diaphragm arrangement. Didnt have a lot of time today so any clues would help. As I explained to the Cust that I cant get back till after christmas but she would be prepared to wait till next year rather than call BHS My Customers love me (Sometimes) 🙄

You sure about the flow meter Goose? Looks like float switch – not sticking is it?

Yeah, crud in the sump inlet pipe forcing the float switch to trip. Whip it out goose and give it a clean! 🙂

Thats why I was supprised by this fault, All the gubbins there but no micro switch operated by the the diaphragm ! Also in line with the internal blue water inlet hose is a white circular unit with a green and yellow wire coning out of it and I presumed thats the flow meter I know and love bosch D/Ws for there simplicity so this through me a bit.
