Original complaint from customer of machine going dead in mid cycle.
He changed the fuse in the plug and it then completed that cycle. He tried it a few days later and the same thing happened but this time he could not get it to come on.When I called this lunchtime he said he opened the door this morning to see the lights on so set it to a quick 33 min cycle which it completed perfectly.
I tried it on a 15 min rinse only programme and it appeared to start correctly and filled but did nothing else, I opened door after 5 minutes and display was still set at 15 minutes and was flashing.
I did a reset and it drained and beeped. I tried this two or three times, sometimes after a reset it took nearly 3 minutes to do the beep on the 1 minute reset, other times it beeped after one minute. On opening the door the display was reading 0.00 on one occasion and was blank on a couple of others. Switching on/off had no effect but the display did come back on after a minute or so without any further intervention.Couldn’t hear any sound of main circulation pump running but he insisted it had worked fine this morning.
I checked the fuse he had removed last week and as I suspected it was OK.Any suggestions as to possibly causes most welcome.
Jim.
PS. This is one integrated dishwasher you would not want to try and get out, the plastic waste pipe from the sink has been routed right under the centre of this appliance between the front and back legs and there is no room to get it back over this pipe even with the rear foot fully raised.

Door switch poss Jim, for at least some of those issues. Very sensitive magnet to reed switch on these. Door slightly out will cut the program and may be the flashing display issue you mentioned. Usually hinge related if so rather than a door switch failure as such.

Thanks Mark, cheap enough to try and it won’t need dragging out. Will suck it and see, it did have a call out to a faulty child lock under warranty which was disabled by the Bosch tech at the time.
