Not the fault reported, it was a leak actually and the lower door seal was swollen and not fitting well so I changed it and cured the leak. As ever, I always clean out the spray arms on all dishwashers I repair so did the bottom one, went to take off the top one……not there! The whole support tube and the arm was missing. Assuming the customer had removed it to clean I asked and they looked at me blankly…… turns out they inherited the intergrated diswasher when they bought the house a couple of years ago and it has never had a top arm! How well did it wash the top basket? I asked. “Never noticed any problem” was the response.
Its crazy as another house will have a little bit of sweetcorn in the arm and the customers complain of a bad wash and yet here, with no arm at all, she didnt even mention it to me. Needless to say a new arm assembly is on order for it. 😉
