Bosch D/W rear panel seal supplier

Anyone know where i can get the upgraded seal that fits along the back of the dishwasher sealing the top to the base, ours is leaking and water is going into the base. model is SMS40C02GB/07, Thanks

your not alone there I am afraid/ This as far as I am concerned is the biggest blunder bosch have made but they still produce them. checking your model on the bosch sire shows you cant buy a separate seal. you cant even buy a new base which may have had the seal installed.
even if you could buy the part its a massive strip down to fit. you could try silicone to see if it seals but apart from that or some other sealer your sunk

Thanks Dave it looks like i am going to try silicone sealant then, cant see why it would not seal ok but i suppose it would have to be drinking water safe . Its a pity because the washer works fine and we don’t really have the cash for another one so i suppose i have nothing to lose.
