ParticipantHi guys, just got this m/c in – will only fill & empty nothing else!
Fills for 30 sec then empties, fills – empties continously on all prog’s.anyone had this before on these?
Brian.

The few times that i’ve had this fault , it has been caused by a faulty water inlet flow meter – Does it have the flow meter fitted ?

No I dont think so! Dont know what controls the inlet (module perhaps!) – but it does have an aquastop attached and a safety float inside.

Hi
This model does have a flow meter/impellor jug fitted.
If required p/no 424099.
I would also look at the transfer ribbed hose (the usual suspect) aswellGreg

Hi Gegsy, Thanks for your reply. Where on the machine is the ribbed hose & which is the best way to get to it? Is it that the hose gets blocked that causes the problem?
Brian.

Hi senseib
You must the only person not familiar with THAT hose 😀
Its situated behind lower front plinth and runs from the metering unit to the sump. It is ‘O’ringed on both ends so will pull off 😯
Make sure you completely empty sump water before removing the hose (gets a wee wet if ya don’t 😉 )Greg

YEP! Know the hose in question now – gets silted up then slows flow into machine. Bit of a brain seizure there – ok now.
I think my signature is very accurate at times 😆
Thanks again Gegsy :rolls:

Yup, terrible reliablility.
What I would say is when you replace the impeller jug, make sure you make a note of the orientation of the old one, its imperative 😉Greg
