No probs…..It’s all part of the Bosch Recall on certain models (and your customers is included also). They need to contact BSH.

Not really, you can still have power even if that filter goes tits up. You are stuck between a rock and a hard place on this issue. In that BSH are indeed obliged to call and replace that module…FACT..!! They use sub-contractors to do it who simply call, fit the new module then PAT test the machine before leaving.
Now if there’s no power to the machine such as you describe, you either take it upon yourself to intervene (armed with a new Mains Filter if you like) OR leave it to the BSH guys to charge £89 and sus out WTF is going on! 😯

Mains filter will not stop it coming on. Blowing fuse yes.

double check the socket too. just gone through a spate of neutral faults on sockets lately locally. dont know why, cuat havent elaborated more but tests with 3pin socket checkers elsewhere for okay-nesss have resulted in suddenly-working machines, ive left it to the subsequent sparkys to explain why 😀

The sub contractor should have replaced the board and PAT tested it irrespective of whether or not there was power to the machine.
Be that as it may the choice now is either for you to intervene and re-establish the power supply or, better still, advise your customer deal directly with BSH where they can carry out all the necessary and also fit a new module free of charge.
