yep, that’s how I do it , mind you I’m suffering with sciatica at the mo ‘ so every job is taking a good bit longer than usual.
The freestanding is the same.

If its the heat pump you’re talking about you’re going about it the wrong way. No need to drop the base at all as it can be done from the side. Side panel off , module popped out the way. Disconnect 3 plugs from heat pump. Carefully cut away securing circlip on right hand side , take of bungee clip then twist pump clockwise before pulling towards you. Then fit in reverse remembering to fit the new jubilee clip in the right position and orientation.

easy to change! how long does it take then- total strip down job innit’, 2-2 1/2 hours ?

what he said, done a few now 20 minutes tops for a freestanding.
