    Heres a good one
    Customer complains that she has a smell of burning and then it trips ,when she resets the trip it has 86 mins remaining .
    Machine passes PAT test element meggers okay bard has no signs of water damage ,all wiring seems sound
    Help !

    Wall socket? Plug Top/ Extension lead probs?

    Heater coming on without water and going down to earth perhaps?

    have you checked the suppressor?.

    Have had a few now with a smell of burning, along with tripping the rcd.

    Hi
    As boro said for sure.
    Remove r/h panel and remove supressor. It will winkle off its mount and re try dishwasher.

    some of the wash pumps on this range have a ptc start for the wash pump, it is not un common for this to break down under load causing a burning smell.
