    BOSCH SGS66A02GB DISHWASHER
It seems to be leaking from the side tank fron the o ring. I have cleared out the chamber but still leaks. Does it require a new chamber and seal???

I went to the same model, with the same symptoms on saturday.

Does this model have a “Dump valve” like the SGS43E02GB, mentioned

    elsewere on this site?

If so how can we identify it.

    Thanks John.

But did you also clear out the ribbed clear tube that goes from that chamber to the sump and are the filters clear?

    Re: bosch dishwasher

I did clean the hose from tank to sump, although it was only very slightly

    dirty, and filters were spotless.

the pressure chamber didnt cope with the flow of the water and although

the float switch (by the pressure chamber) activated the pump the

chamber still overflows. There is a black baffle in side the pressure

chamber, could I remove this to increase water flow rate?

    PS
The anti flood float did not activate the pump because one of the four

comet engineers, that had been on a previous call whacked a

screwdriver through the bottom of the tray!!

Hence my call to a leaking D/W

No don’t remove it, it’s there for a reason BUT take it out and have a look up the tube behind it or even remove this tube and inspect , it may have a partial blockage that is moving up and down the tube, although, this should not cause your problem but still worth a check.

    Hi,
You need to take the chamber apart and clean the black section and the return hole under the red float. It is easy to break so i carry the whole chamber (around £20)

    Graeme,

Thanks for your input, but I cleaned the pipe from the pressure chamber to sump, and completely dismantled the pressure chamber.

When filling the pressure vessel activates the diaphram above, the microswitch operates and recirculation pump starts.

Almost imedeatley the red float rises and the drain pump comes on and water leaks over the top of the pressure chamber!

    Re: bosch dishwasher

It’s got to be a blockage, you say you cleaned the hose out, is it blocked where the hose joins the sump? are the filters clean inside the d/w?

    Re: bosch dishwasher

Been back today checked everything for blockages, and found nothing.

But then when checking the operation of the two solenoid valves on the side, just below the matrix, I found that the right hand one was not working although it had power to it and the coil was ok. After stripping it down all is now ok, and no more leaks.
