    Hi,
Cycling pump runs but no fill. Flow meter is o/c so would this be the symptom? This model has the removable bottom panel and what looks like a timer motor on the heater housing.
    Thanks

Flow meter (or impellor jug) is a common fault on these removable baseplate machines. Part number 424099 @ £13.08 (P+P and VAT extra) from BSH site. £11.93 + VAT from Connect.
The clock motor on the heater manifold operates the ‘bias valve’ that regulates water flow to the rotors. As the motor turns the valve, the top rotor is fed full bore with low pressure to the bottom rotor. Then the valve turns and the bottom rotor is fed full bore with a diminished supply to the top rotor and so on. 😉

    HTH,

    Steve.

If that cures it keep the old one and stick a new reed switch in it. Penguin posted something about this a few weeks ago and gave the Maplin part no. for the reed switch.
