Bosch Dishwasher….

Bosch SGS0902GB/05 Prob… starts heats up then its as if its getting to hot then blows earth leakage trip… Any ideas guys ?? Works fine again once cooled down.. THANKS

You will obviously need to check the insulation reading of the element first. I guess it must be high and the likely cause, bit of a cow to change though 🙁

Take it outside, turn it upside down and take the bottom off – all is revealed and accessible!

We have had a number of these with earthed heaters lately. one even re-failed within a few months of changing.
268033 is the part number @£57.10 +vat.

Sorry chris. (OK I might get a flipperring to death next week for saying this) I dont really recommend that is the best way of dealing with it though, much safer to take the cavity off from the top, its quick and easy to do so and less chance of water getting into expensive places.

Hey Mark,
I’m 5’4″ and 9 stone – I don’t DO flippering…..

If you drain the baffles off first, there’s very little water left and upside down works for me! It all finishes up at a nice hieght (for a short arse with a bad back) to work on.

Besides I can never get the sump seal to reseal properly if I take the cavity off the base. For my sins, the first one I did that way got written off after 3 hours as it would bloody NOT reseal. If you know a trick for this one, do tell! ‘Cos I tried, and I tried and I tried and I tried – I didn’t get no – satisfaction

I can feel the involuntary tic starting again……
