    I have a Bosch dishwasher SHV43A03GB/42 it completes the requred programme but does not appear to rinse properly, everything is left gritty and needs rinsing manually.

    So glad I have discovered this forum.

    The really common reason is explained here that will give the appearance of grit or sand in a dishwasher.
