    Hi Guys

    Went to a 10 year old Bosch dishwasher today.
    Its the type where when you open the door the power cuts off, and when you close it you have to press the on off button again.

    The customer said the machine keeps cutting off, and if you leave it long enough it will come back on.

    I fitted a new on off button (part number 165242)

    All seemed fine, but its started doing it again.

    Any ideas?

    Make sure the mains plug isn’t pushed into the bitumen insulation on the rear of the appliance

    The mains plug is under the sink.
    I kept wiggling the plug but it carried on working after i fitted the new on off switch.

    Had a sneaky suspicion that it may be one of those machines that are on the BOSCH RECALL LIST 😉

    Duff module I recon….get your customer to contact Bosch and get it sorted. 😀
