ParticipantHi, working on a SG145E15GB/31 which fills then empties, fills and empties constantly with the check water light coming on also.
Havn`t worked on this type before that doesn`t use the float/ micro switch system or diaphram shut off..leaning towards either the impeller jug or the water softner unit clogged up..
any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Change the impeller jug, that should solve your problem.

A rotary magnetic reed switch. As the Impellor rotates the reed switch opens and closes creating pulses. The control module counts the pulses to regulate the amount of water passing through the inlet valve. The plastic Impellor wheel is subject to a lot of friction wear and the major cause of the device failing.
Why Siemens/Bosch named it Impellor jug is something of a mystery lost in translation and over there it’s called a Flügelrad, so I’ll leave you to finger that out. 😕

Reed switch can be replaced easily on these without having to replace impellar jug completely if you keep a few in the van and you wont need to order one and call back 😀
