Hi all bosch shv55m03gb/55 ,really wierd fault on this .Fills with water, sometimes the wash pump will start up sometimes it wont,it spins very freely (no corrosion) . Tried a new capasitor it woked once then next time no start up again. Out of about 10 program start ups the wash pump started twice ,the rest of the time no go. It sounds like it wants to start (screw driver to ear it buzes for a few seconds )but dose nothing .Any ideas ? THANKS. 😕

Time to whip out the motor and check the pump chamber then. Piece of broken crockery in there maybe?

HI its nothing stuck in the chamber as when its supposed to start the pump i flicked the centre of the motor and its free to turn. i might be thinking along the lines of impellor jug ,if not it could be the motor windings breaking down,or module maybe ?only trouble is they are both expensive parts for trial and error .

How free is free though? You say it starts only one in 5 times and the other 4 times presumably just hums? Got to be a motor issue and bugger all to do with the Impellor jug.

Well it turns as freely as a new motor ,ive done lots of these before and tend to know the signs of a worn motor this is why it is puzzling me.
