showing error code E14

I have visited appliance, looked at reed switch, which test out closed circuit

unit will fill water jacket and appears to kick in main pump for a few seconds and dumps water, as if flood control is activated..shows error E14

No evidence of water in base of unit

I can not reset current programme which is on Eco wash cycle
pressing any button or holding reset makes no difference to display.

unit is just over 2 years old

any help appreciated

fd 93 is a 2013 unit not 2016

reed switch should be closed circuit when the magnet is inline and open circuit when its not
anyway does it try to fill with water ?

sorry Dave only just got back from holiday

unit will fill

but evacuate water as if Flood sensor as been activated

ther is no w
leak or water in base of the machine

I would swop the reed sw and see what happens

you can either get a gen one (611317) or use rs part 362-2495 and solder it in
