Bosch dishwasher

hi guys,
got a bosch dishwasher, to look at fault is it leaks, how do u get into the damn thing 😕 removed side panels and dont seem much space to work on does the base come off these or just have to work in small gap?
any help?

Depends where it’s leaking from.
Most jobs just work in the small space. Before stripping it down just make sure bottom spray arm is fastened together properly.

Other favourites for leaks are the heater and motor seal.

If its (a current model?) then to access the components in the base you need to remove the door and the tub for this. SMS series are more straightforward, SPS series are a nightmare and so on…!

Most Bosch parts are available from Connect Distribution. I look up the part numbers on the Bosch website and then find the part on Connect by adding prefix BSH in the global search area. Most parts are available as stock items and the prices are not too bad.

PS. many Hotpoint parts are interchangeable with the Bosch dishwasher parts and are sometimes a lot cheaper. (not always)

I think we have been down this channel before. Some pay much more than others with Connect depending on how the discount structure is set up. Personally I find them very reasonable.

You get a quite decent discount from BSH themselves if you identify yourself as trade to the girls – and of course they have all the stock, so unusual to get a back order situation.
