Without any diagnostic facility it’s difficult to know where to start with the Bosch machine without a digital display. Perhaps a Bosch engineer could tell us what they’d do?
I’d have a look at the regen valve as I seem to remember similar symptoms if that goes – E19 I think.

Participantthe light is flashing
July 3, 2024 at 8:19 am #490673electrofix
Moderatorok so that means its not a water fault
if the light was not flashing that would be a water fill fault
the fact its flashing means it can be anything else which is not a lot of help as its not a specific fault code

ParticipantI have similar experience with this dishwasher and it is a mystery.
I find that isolating from the mains sometimes solves this or even replacing the drain pump and flow meter reed. I don’t know if the heat exchanger drain valve is the cause so it is a case of parts bingo. One of them will cure it.

Is this flashing/not flashing, water or not water related across all Bosch D/W’s – never knew and seems very helpful.
What annoys me most on the Bosch D/W is the random leaks which cause anti flood every few months, but NEVER appear when I test the units.
