    I have not been to this yet i know it could be the heat pump what sort of job are they to fit as i have not done one yet ,customer says it does get slightly warm so not sure any one advise

    I Can’t say i’ve ever had one where it only gets warm, but what I would do first is check the PCB for dry solder joints on the heater relay as this is a common problem

    thanks for that will check joints i thought it was odd that they say it gets warm

    Its probably a bit warm because it has been circulating the water for or a while or it may be connected to the hot supply.
    I would check the heater first as taking the module out to check is a lot more fiddly…

    you are right after further phone call we have found it is connected to the hot water supply so i will be checking heat pump still would like to know what its like to fit one

    I’ve posted quite a few times on heat pump replacement.
    Nice & simple can all be done through the front access panel.

    I’ve done *cough cough* a fair few but never through the front. Personally takes me 10/15 mins from the side although I know some of the lads can do them through the front. Do you leave the original hose clip in position or fit the new jubilee clip ?

    I always use the new jubilee clip!!

    I always did the freestanding with the side off then I thought that as I do the integrated ones through the front why not that way on freestanding.
    You disturb no connections / plumbing plus you can do a visual afterwards with the front panel still off.

    can you access the clip to tighten it from the front?
