Bosch dishwasher fault

Hi, I have a Bosch Avantixx SMS40A0 dishwasher and it isn’t starting. Unfortunately it isn’t giving me an error code, it is just flashing with the cycle time, but not starting. I have tried doing the test cycle and get an E00 code, which i think means there is no error detected, but it still won’t work. I have had it for 3 years and had no problems until now.

Possibly the door is not shutting properly and the door sensor thinks the door still open, maybe?

Oh, maybe. Is there any way that could be tested?

Well, carefully double-check that the door isn’t obstructed in any way (i e Top basket not located properly or machine not standing on a level floor surface)

With a little light pressure on the control panel check to see if it starts then. (The door sensor is indeed very sensitive magnet type)

Solved! Thank you very much. I think i’ll need to get someone out to look at it, but at least i know what the problem is.
