Re: Bosch Dishwasher full of water at end of cycle
You haven’t given us the model number, so what follows is guess work……..
Does the pump actually run? You should be able to hear it whirring away if it does. If it doesn’t, you need to check with a test meter for a circuit through the pump. The older machines were prone to wiring failures, especially in the door, where the wires pivot under the machine. Does the pump look rusty? The older machines used a metal bodied pump – if the seal goes, water gets into the bearing and seizes the pump eventually. If you can hear the pump running, there must be a blockage somewhere. If it’s coupled on to the sink, that’s the first place to look.
You can find exploded diagrams of the machine on http://www.bshappliancecare.com , providing you can insert the full model reference. Use “Bosch”, then “Spares” the “Quickfinder” to view.
Power off, for anything other than observation, please.
