Over a week ago I had a SGS43C02/35 about 4/5 years old. Had a problem of no heat. So I did all the usual checks, No gunge in fact it was spotless with the exception of the top left corner. Heater 27ohm and no burnt out tracks on the board.
Then I remembered Trilobite’s post regarding Tesco’s “Natually” dishwasher tablets. there they were under the sink. advised customer to change tablets tried the machine all worked OK.
However I got a letter this morning saying the machine will only work on 35deg and not on 50 or 65. They are away on holiday for a week so I could do with some pointers for when they come back.

    Cheers David

sounds like the model coding may have gone out of sink. if you ever have to change the pcb on most bosch dishwashers you have to programme the correct model coding, if you dont the kind of fault you mentioned occurs.

I couldn’t find anything in the “Stickys”. So could anybody tell me how to reprogramme the model coding. Or is it just a matter of holding the reset button?

    Thank David

You will find the info required in the box with the new board.

Ask your supplier, if they are nice to open up one and photocopy otherwise you may have problems programming old one.
