Bosch dishwasher ‘Hydro sensors’ and 1 fault code

Does anyone else have trouble with these?
Number 1 shows in display at the end of the cycle, and according to bosch info it’s a Hydrosensor fault. I have now changed two of these and it doesn’t cure the fault 😕
Bosch technical told the customer it was because there was not enough water in the machine so not activating the heater 🙄
Both dishwashers have heated ok but the customer now doubts my diagnosis as bosch technical can’t be wrong , can they 👿

Have you got a model number you can give us Ray?

I believe these ‘hydro sensors’ are tacked onto the heater box anyway if I’m not mistaken? I would imagine Bosch engineers would replace the whole heater unit with sensor unit and be done especially if its crudded up with limescale thru not using salt?

They are pretty straightforward to change and on the ones i’ve done, the heater boxes have been spotless.
anyway…don’t like changing heater units on these 😀

I shall dig out the model number for more clarity.

Not sure how you would know that Ray if you haven’t changed it 😕

As the fault is associated in this area it really would be your favourite option though, in spite of the fact its a fag taking the tank off and stuff 🙁

once you take the sensor out, you can have a peek with a torch.
Personally, i just use the ‘Force”….. 😀
