    HI CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH MY DISHWASHER??
    ITS A BOSCH FULL SIZE INTERGRATED UNIT MODEL NO. SGV43A03GB/44PRODUCTION NO:8309
    LOADED UP AS NORMAL WENT TO SWITCH ON AND FOUND ITS DEAD.SO CHECKED FUSED SPUR AND CONNECTIONS,ALL OK.
    IS IT LIKELY TO BE A C/B FRIED?? NOT HAD MANY DEALINGS WITH WHITE GOODS MORE USED TO FIXING AIRCRAFT SO ANY TIPS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WOULD BE GREAT 💡 ..

    possibly, it could be the mains filter

    its at the back, where the cable goes in the machine

    plug out if investigating
    after that, its on/off switch then pcb

    MAINS FILTER YOU THINK..IS THAT A SEALED UNIT I JUST METER OUT??
    I ASSUME THEY BURN OUT SOMETIMES??

    depends on the model

    burn out is a term i dont like, yes they go o/c, and it isnt common, worth checking before you go down the expensive pcb route

    if your confident of testing at board level (plug out of course) it may be just a dry joint

    thanks helo will check it out. worse case how much do the pcb board cost on average?? as its nearly 5 year old now in which case may be aswell to renew if its going to cost a lot.

    Retails around £80+ Vat etc, p/no 492685 and if required and is available form the shop@ link on the left 😉

    If it was me I would find where the appliance plugs into, ie the socket from the spur and examine the socket and the plugtop for any signs of overheating then move inwards as per helo 😀

    Often find over tightening of the top left decor door fixing screw can cause the on-off button to bind and not fully operate the switch. Slackening this off slightly would cure that.
